Researchers collaborate in Amsterdam on shared vocabulary for Hybrid Intelligence

On 5 March, CWI in Amsterdam hosted a workshop that brought together researchers from across Europe to work on a shared vocabulary for Hybrid Intelligence systems and research. CERTAIN was represented by our researcher André Meyer-Vitali.

During the session, experts in HI, HHAI, HCI and AI explored how key concepts within the field can be described more consistently and clearly. In a focused workshop setting, they worked together to model and define essential elements such as actors, teams, processes, tasks, metrics and methods.

The workshop resulted in a first broadly supported version of this shared vocabulary. The aim is to further refine the framework and submit it to the next HHAI conference. In addition, follow-up plans are being developed to make the vocabulary more actionable in future research and collaboration.

A big thank you to the HI MT for supporting this initiative.
