From October 2 to 4 around 400,000 visitors explored the German Unity Day celebrations under the motto “Future through Change” in Saarbrücken. The CERTAIN team on site, consisting of Simon Ostermann, Patrick Schramowski and Leon Schall, presented LavaGuard, an interactive exhibit demonstrating how transparency and security can be embedded into visual AI systems. The exhibit offered a hands-on example of what Trusted AI looks like in practice, showcasing AI innovation that serves people. Among other visitors, the CERTAIN team was delighted to welcome Saarland’s Minister of Finance and Science Jakob von Weizsäcker to our site.
